 Tenant FAQs

  • Per your lease agreement, no heavy items that would require significant mounting hardware may be hung on the walls in your rental unit, including TVs.

Small brad nails may be used for light-weight décor, but holes must be patched before move-out.

Under no circumstances may a tenant mount wall-hangings on woodwork.

  • Rent is due on the 1st of the month with a 5 day grace period. This means you must pay rent by 5:00 on the 5th of the month.

On the 6th of the month you will be assessed a $50 late fee, with an additional $10/additional day late. You will also receive a notice stating you have 7 days to pay rent or move out.

If you know you are going to be late with your rent it is best to notify your MRealty Representative. This does not waive late fees.

  • If you have a maintenance request you must file it via the tenant portal. If it’s an emergency (flooding, roof leaks, fire, etc.) you should also contact us immediately by phone. You could be held liable for damages caused by a delay in reporting issues.

For non-maintenance issues you can contact us by phone during business hours or by email.

  • Tenants are required to maintain insurance for their personal property as well as $100,000 of liability coverage. This is a standard amount on most renter’s insurance policies.

If you don’t know where to get insurance, you can sign up for a plan via the tenant portal.

You must maintain renter’s insurance at all times and provide proof of this insurance through the tenant portal.

We’re happy to have you with us!
